"I can't wait! Grandpa...can you not wait too?"

Natasha wasn't able to come over today, so I had to stay home to take care of the kiddies. During breakfast, Alex mentioned something about owls being mean...I mentioned the owls from the nature park and then he told me he was talking about the mean owl from Stella Luna. About 5-10 minutes later, he informed me that we were going to the Nature park after breakfast. I thought about it and decided that would be a much better way to spend the day than just hanging around the house. So I checked to make sure they were open and told Alex that we were going to go there.
He kept telling me "I'm so excited!". I called Grandma and Grandpa to see if they were interested in tagging along and as it turns out, Grandpa Norman and Big Grandma came with us.
As we were driving out there, Alex told everyone he was so excited...then asked if they were. Then he said "I can't wait to get there! Grandpa...can you not wait to get there?" He then asked big Grandma, Me, Sarah and Sammy the same thing.
It was a beautiful day and a great way to spend it. We all had a great time and Alex loved seeing the animals...I think Sarah and Sammy mostly just liked the walk :)
